Violent and Graphic Content ahead....
I was flagged for sharing "Violent and Graphic Content" on one of the social media platforms I use to share our story. The video was of Dan working cattle, administering a tattoo, a simple routine task purebred cattlemen often do. I wanted to share a fun and informative little clip, giving a behind the scenes look at our ranch. But nope. Apparently that is "Violent and Graphic."
I don't share this for pity. Honestly, I usually don't get too worked up over this, but this time it got me. I felt defeated. Why am I working so hard to take you guys along with what is happening on our ranch if it is going to be flagged? This is where we are at now? As a culture THIS is Violent and Graphic?! A video of us taking care of our livestock .......Violent and Graphic.....that's where we are folks.
If you have been following along for a while, you know how much I care for our livestock. I have shared the ups and downs. The hard days. The days that make you feel like throwing in the towel. Could I not? Of course! There are more good days than not but I want to share our ranch story. To take you along.
Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok I suggest you learn from the farmers and ranchers using your social media platforms. We are not "Violent and Graphic." We are working 24/7 to provide you with food, clothing, medicine, and many other byproducts that you use daily. We are sharing with the public what we are doing day in and out. Opening the door to conversations. Happy to answer questions that some may have. Instead of flagging us or blocking our accounts, I suggest you ask us some questions. Reach out to farmers and ranchers. We are happy to have discussions with how we raise your food.
